It’s been a while now since I last posted anything on here…
I decided after my last update that I would only post ‘GOOD NEWS’! Hence the delay.
Well today I can post THREE bits of good news…
1) We are seeing a very positive growth in work
2) We have secured a new team member (details to be published soon)
3) We are now also looking for a Graduate to fill our Jnr Robotics role (have a look at the 'Jobs'page)
So, whilst all of us at CBM-Logix, our families, the country and the rest of the world are personally struggling on with Covid-19 it is nice to have some positivity in our lives here at CBM-Logix.

It’s been just over a month now since our last update. I’d like to say that the delay in the update is because we are snowed under, if only…
Whilst we have hit a slack in actually work, we have seen an upturn in interest and enquiries. We are ticking over and still in a healthy situation and that’s the main thing.
Orders are coming in, mainly for the back end of the year and the enquiries are for 2021 Capex budgeting.
So the future is looking bright.

First, A BIG Happy 72nd Birthday on the 5th July to our BRILLIANT NHS
Now I hope and pray that from the 4th July sensibility will prevail with the pubs & restaurants opening up.
Well, we’ve been open for a month now. No matter how much planning you do to un-furlough staff at the right time to fulfil your customers’ requirements, there is always something that scuppers the plans.
OH FOR A CRYSTAL BALL!!
Anyway, we are ticking over and still in a healthy situation and that’s the main thing.
We have had our first ‘Working away’ (CCEP at Sidcup for Tetrapak) and Adam reports that COVID-19 safety is good.

First two weeks of the office being open and it still seems strange.
But at least we have 50% of the staff back at work full time.
We are aiming for 100% staffing by mid-July.

It seemed like our ‘World of Customers’ have started to come ‘Out of Hibernation’. In a two hour window from 08:15 to 10:15 we had a spate of emails requesting us to look at various new and existing projects…
The ‘Heartbeat’ of the business is starting to grow strong again!

Office deep cleaned and re-arranged to ensure ‘Social Distancing’ rules are possible. All staff issued with a COVID-19 pack consisting of washable face masks, bottles of hand sanitiser, disposable gloves, tissues and personalised mugs.
We are ready to 'Rock N Roll'

All staff, with the exception of Buzz Mason, furloughed until further notice. Twice weekly conference calls with the team arrnaged so that we don't forget who we are and can continue with the vital 'Office Banter'

Office closes for the foreseeable future. All staff now working from home.

PM announced Lockdown. All the planning from the 16th March onwards put into effect.

Started planning for ‘Working at Home’. Convinced this will not be long before we have to do this.
